Анотація
У статті досліджено роль мистецтва у формуванні колективної пам’яті в умовах безпекових викликів та оборони України. Проаналізовано, як візуальне мистецтво, музика та перформативні жанри сприяють
консолідації суспільства, зміцненню національної ідентичності та протидії інформаційним загрозам. Розглянуто мистецтво як засіб символічного опору, актуалізації історичної пам’яті та мобілізації громадян
у кризових умовах. Окрему увагу приділено його значенню у протидії дезінформації та формуванні культурної стійкості.
Опис
The article explores the role of art in shaping collective memory in the context of Ukraine’s security and defense challenges. It examines how various artistic practices, including visual arts, music, and performative genres, contribute to the consolidation of society, the reinforcement of national identity, and the counteraction of information threats. Art serves as a powerful medium for representing historical narratives, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening social resilience in times of crisis.
A significant focus is placed on the symbolic power of art in mobilizing communities, fostering a sense of unity, and resisting external aggression. The study highlights how artistic expression functions as a means of ideological resistance, particularly in the face of hybrid warfare, where cultural and informational domains become key battlegrounds. By analyzing specific artistic projects, exhibitions, and public initiatives, the article demonstrates how art actively engages in shaping public consciousness, reinforcing historical truth, and countering disinformation.
Additionally, the research emphasizes the role of artistic discourse in framing national memory and constructing a shared historical perspective. The study examines the ways in which art can serve as a catalyst for social dialogue, fostering critical engagement with the past while projecting visions for the future. In this context, artistic interventions not only document war experiences but also contribute to the psychological recovery of individuals
and communities affected by military conflicts.
The article further explores how art contributes to cultural diplomacy, enhancing Ukraine’s global representation and strengthening international support. By investigating the intersection of art, memory, and national security, the study underscores the strategic importance of cultural initiatives in the broader framework of state resilience. The findings suggest that artistic expression plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of national identity, resisting cultural erasure, and reinforcing the collective will to defend sovereignty.
