| dc.description | The article examines the problem of countering terrorism in Ukraine, in particular the role and functions of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) in this area. An analysis of the criminal legal support for combating terrorism is carried out, problematic issues and prospects for the development of the NGU’s activities in this area are identified. The scientific work emphasizes the need to implement international experience. Key issues of criminal law aspects of combating terrorism are considered, in particular, the need to improve the definitions of the concepts of «terrorist organization», «financing of terrorism» and «recruitment for terrorist activities». The role and functions of the NGU in the system of countering terrorism are determined, including the prevention, detection and suppression of terrorist activities, the protection of important objects, ensuring security during mass events, etc. Problematic issues of the NGU’s activities in the field of countering terrorism are analyzed, such as insufficient funding and logistical support, the need to improve the professional level of military personnel. An analysis of the criminal law support for the fight against terrorism was conducted, problematic issues and prospects for the development of the NGU’s activities on these issues were identified. The need to implement international experience was emphasized. A detailed analysis of the causes, forms and methods of terrorist activity, as well as its impact on society and the state, a comprehensive analysis of crimi nal law norms regulating responsibility for terrorist crimes was conducted. | dc.description.abstract | У статті досліджено проблему протидії тероризму в Україні, зокрема роль та функції Національної гвардії України (НГУ) у цій сфері. Проведено аналіз кримінально-правового забезпечення боротьби з тероризмом, визначено проблемні питання та перспективи розвитку діяльності НГУ із зазначених питань. Наголошено на необхідності впровадження міжнародного досвіду. Проведено детальний аналіз причин, форм та методів терористичної діяльності, а також її впливу на суспільство та державу, комплексний аналіз кримінально-правових норм, що регулюють відповідальність за терористичні злочини. | |
